Refinishing Garden Accessories

Image

We’ve been replanting and getting our garden ready for the spring.  I found my old Owl that has been weathered and chipped.

I really love this old owl so I thought I’d spruce him up for springtime.

I found some spray paint we had and decided to use the soft yellow.

I wanted to keep it looking weathered but in a new way.  So I sprayed him and while wet I used a dry brush and wiped at the wet paint. I did this a few times until I got the look I wanted.

I let him dry and set him back out to his home. I think he turned out great and happy he’s all nice and cleaned up.
